Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cups (Printer-friendly)

Chocolate cups layered with strawberry cream and Lotus Biscoff crumble for a rich, textured dessert experience.

# What You'll Need:

→ Chocolate Cups

01 - 7 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate (at least 55% cocoa), chopped

→ Strawberry Cream Filling

02 - 1 cup heavy cream, cold
03 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 7 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

→ Topping

06 - 6 Lotus Biscoff cookies, crushed
07 - 6 small whole strawberries for garnish
08 - 1 oz white chocolate, melted (optional for drizzling)

# Directions:

01 - Melt the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water using a double boiler method, or in 30-second bursts in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, coat the insides of 6 silicone or paper cupcake liners with the melted chocolate. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Apply a second layer of chocolate for structural integrity and chill again until completely set, approximately 20 minutes. Once firm, carefully peel off the liners to release the chocolate cups and keep chilled until ready to fill.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whip the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the diced strawberries until evenly distributed.
03 - Spoon the strawberry cream filling evenly into each chocolate cup. Sprinkle each cup generously with the crushed Lotus Biscoff cookies. Garnish with a whole strawberry on top of each cup. Optionally drizzle with melted white chocolate for an elegant presentation.
04 - Serve immediately, or chill until ready to enjoy.

  • Customizable: Easy to adapt with different fillings, toppings, or dietary modifications.
02 -
  • Quality chocolate matters: Use good-quality chocolate with at least 55% cocoa for the best flavor and texture in your cups.
  • Silicone liners work best: They're easier to peel off than paper liners and create perfectly smooth chocolate cups.
  • Avoid soggy cups: Fill the chocolate cups no more than 2-3 hours before serving to prevent the cream from softening the chocolate.
  • Crush cookies finely: For the best texture, pulse Lotus Biscoff cookies in a food processor or place them in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Temperature control: Keep everything cold—chilled cream whips better, and cold chocolate cups hold their shape longer once filled.
