# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It feels like ordering takeout but you made it yourself in less time than delivery would take.
  • The crunch of the flatbread against the cool, creamy salad is ridiculously satisfying.
  • You can prep the chicken ahead and just assemble everything when hunger strikes.
  • It's one of those meals that looks impressive but requires almost no skill to pull off.
02 -
  • If you dress the salad too early, it will get soggy and limp by the time you're ready to serve.
  • Resting the chicken before slicing is not optional, or all the juice runs out onto your cutting board instead of staying in the meat.
  • Don't overbake the flatbreads or they'll turn into crackers and break when you try to eat them.
03 -
  • Grill the chicken instead of pan-cooking it for a smoky flavor that takes this to another level.
  • Use a yogurt-based Caesar dressing if you want to lighten it up without losing the creamy tang.
  • If you're making this for kids, skip the anchovies in the dressing and they'll never know the difference.
