→ Cooking

11 - Cooking spray or 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

→ Dipping Sauce

12 - 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
13 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce

# Directions:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, flaked crab meat, sliced spring onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth and evenly incorporated.
02 - Position a wonton wrapper on a clean work surface. Place approximately 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of the wrapper.
03 - Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold diagonally to form a triangle, pressing firmly to remove air pockets and seal edges. Optional: bring the two corners together and seal to create a traditional wonton shape.
04 - Continue filling and sealing the remaining wonton wrappers using the same technique.
05 - Lightly spray all filled wontons with cooking spray or brush with a thin layer of vegetable oil to ensure even browning.
06 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
07 - Place wontons in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap or touch.
08 - Air fry for 7 to 9 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
09 - Transfer hot wontons to a serving plate and serve immediately with dipping sauce on the side.

  • Turn halfway through: Flipping the wontons at the midpoint ensures even browning on both sides.
  • Preheat your air fryer: A properly preheated air fryer at 190°C (375°F) gives the wontons a better, crispier result from the very start.
  • Seal well: Press the edges firmly after moistening with water to prevent the filling from leaking during cooking.
  • Serve immediately: These wontons are best enjoyed fresh and hot, as they will soften as they cool.
